Welcome at the new web pages of ICS. The section of Information and Communication Systems (ICS) focuses on the total design and implementation trajectory of the hardware and the software of analog, mixed-signal and digital systems. The developments in VLSI, telecommunication and data communication hardware and software, and the accompanying design science are important enabling technologies for the future. The research on design theory, design methods, design tools and implementation aspects is essential to the industry together with the education. The section of Information and Communication Systems determines to an important extent the contents of the information technology in the faculty of Electrical Engineering. The field of the section of Information and Communication Systems can be further described as the theory, the methodologies of design, the realisation and application of analog, mixed-signal and digital information and communication systems. These include systems for the communication, collection, storage, processing, transportation, routing, and presentation of information.
